grande produtor e vocalista da fase de ouro do Reggae jamaicano
Vivian Jackson, mais conhecido como Yabby You,
faleceu no último dia 12 de janeiro de 2010 em Clarendon,
na Jamaica. O artista nasceu em Kingston,
capital da ilha em 1946 e ficou conhecido por muitos clássicos
como "Conquering Lion", "Deliver me From My Enemies" e "Natty Bongo"
Um dos seus álbums, "Jesus Dread",
é considerado como um dos maiores clássicos já produzidos na jamaica,
e está em qualquer lista de obras essenciais do Reggae.

Na lista de artistas produzidos por Yabby You
estão nomes como Michael Rose, Tonny Tuff, Wayne Wade,
michael Prophet, Big Youth, Dillinger e Trinity.
O artista foi vítima de um derrame cerebral (AVC).
e levado às pressas para o Hospital, onde morreu às
11 da noite do dia 12 de janeiro. O corpo físico se foi,
mas sua obra certamente jamais será esquecida.
